NY to Vegas rally nets speeding tickets, arrest DENVER -- Colorado authorities say five drivers were ticketed and another was arrested for speeding during a luxury auto rally from New York City to Las Vegas. The Colorado State Patrol said it received several complaints as the Bullrun Live Rally passed through Colorado on Wednesday. Authorities said the driver who was arrested was going more than 40 mph over the speed limit of 65 mph near Idaho Springs on Interstate 70. The driver faces charges of reckless driving and excessive speed. Link

NJ man accused of using fake cash to pay bail CINNAMINSON, N.J. -- Authorities said a New Jersey man charged with shoplifting paid his bail with phony money and returned to demand a refund. The man, 25, was arrested July 7, accused of shoplifting at a clothing store and supermarket in Cinnaminson. He was locked up for having two outstanding warrants and paid $400 bail in cash. Police later realized the money was fake. Link
